    WARNING - DO NOT BUY BAD 35% HYDROGEN PEROXIDE!         

 

We have ordered " 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide" on the Internet and bought it at Internet auctions. Nearly all is fraudulent. It is "safety sealed" with black electrical tape, filled with tap water and a little bit of drug store 3% hydrogen peroxide (NOT SAFE TO CONSUME!) and even labels that wash off because they were printed in ink jet printers. Despite this, they charge from $40 to $80 a gallon!

 

EVEN IF NOT AN OUTRIGHT FRAUD, "35% FOOD GRADE HYDROGEN PEROXIDE IS NOT FOR INTERNAL USAGE!   It is for cleaning solutions used in kitchens.

How, then, has it reached the "health supplement" market?

 

Early studies of usage of hydrogen peroxide was from self-health experimenters using EUROPEAN 35% Hydrogen Peroxide. They reported remarkable results and evidence continues to grow to the great oxygenation and cleansing effects of hydrogen peroxide internally. But this was with "water grade" - as it was used to purify water systems. Unavailable in this country, authors converted this to "Food Grade" in written materials.

 

TECHNICAL OR INDUSTRIAL GRADE HYDROGEN PEROXIDE IS CHEAP! It sells in bulk for about $4-6 a gallon. This will make about 10 gallons of cleaning solution for mopping floors and wiping down kitchens.

 

Because it is cheap to buy technical grade in quantities, some unscrupulous individuals decided to buy it in bulk, and then rebottle it in gallon sizes and sell it for $40 to $80 a gallon. They will even claim it is FDA certified and inspected trying to prove it is safe. What they are doing is making a 1,000% profit on a product dangerous to use internally. Sadly, 1,000% and 1,500% profits for just pouring it into a bottle is not enough for many. Why not just use tap water and a 69 cent bottle of hydrogen peroxide from the drug store (which contain extremely harmful stabilizers)? 

 

DANGERS OF THE 35% TECHNICAL GRADE HYDROGEN PEROXIDE

Hydrogen Peroxide decomposes with age, heat and contact with certain substances. By the time that bulk hydrogen peroxide reaches many these re-bottlers   - through multiple storage, shipping and container transfers - it has often lost virtually off of it's releasable oxygen molecules - making it virtually worthless as a supplement. As it is meant only for mop water and wiping down kitchen equipment, keeping it sterile, cool, fresh and sanitary is not a real consideration by the dealership network.

At the end of this ladder, are those who pour it into quart or gallon plastic bottles - and then sell it at 1,000% to 1,500% markup - boasting that they are offering the miracle of hydrogen peroxide. Due to decomposition, it has little of it's releasable oxygen molecules left - the working substance of hydrogen peroxide.

 

THOUGH THE HYDROGEN PEROXIDE HAS DECOMPOSED TO NEAR WORTHLESS, THE "STABILIZERS" REMAIN.
